My Therapy Approach

In therapy, I will use a variety of evidence-based approaches and techniques based on the goals you have in mind, presenting symptoms, diagnosis, strengths, and what you feel most comfortable with. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Person Centered Approach

  • Strengths Based Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Existential Therapy

  • Psychoeducation

Much of therapy progress and change happens outside of sessions, so I may give you "homework" in-between to keep you on track and report back to me at the next session. Please know that I will confirm you're okay with this first, and will meet you where you're at in your journey.
